Items you MUST have E-mail

Do you have all you need for wood burning?

By far, the best item to protect you from burns is a pair of gloves specially designed for this purpose. These gloves are made to resist very high temperatures and protect both your wrists and forearms thanks to their length. Unfortunately we do not have a picture of this particular item but these gloves are available at most specialized retailers.

Essentially, all heating unit tools are a must have. They provide you with the distance required for you to handle the fire and to allow you to insert wood into the unit and clean it without any safety concerns.

Many choices are available to you and it is possible to combine these advantages as shown in this picture. ash-02.jpg

Another item that is very important is the ash pail with cover and double bottom. This allows you to dispose of ashes without making a mess as well as protects the surface of the floor on which is it placed.

Caution:          Even if you believe there is no danger in doing so, do not use a vacuum cleaner to clean ashes from your heating unit.
